    Assists in the development, management, and administration of compensation programs to ensure compliance and alignment with company objectives, policies, and government regulations.

    1. Designs and maintains compensation related databases and systems that support compensation programs throughout the organization, including maintenance of HRIS tables and queries.
    2. Develops and publishes annual salary administration guidelines, policies, salary ranges, and related tools.
    3. Working with the Director and Senior Director of Compensation, provides advice to field HR and community management on pay decisions, policies, and guideline interpretation, including the design of creative solutions to specific compensation related programs.
    4. Develops processes and systems for providing compensation services and analysis to management and field HR. Develops standard operating procedures for compensation processes and procedures.
    5. Assists in the administration of focal merit and performance review processes.
    6. Completes salary surveys, market pricing, and labor studies ensuring results adhere to company compensation philosophy. Develops and maintains pay data resources for use by field HR.
    7. Conducts job analysis to determine appropriate salary level according to compensation guidelines and policies.
    8. Assists in the design and administration of incentive plans, including the calculation, communication, and processing of bonus payments.
    9. Provides guidance and advice on compensation policies, wage and hour regulations, and creative solutions to specific compensation issues.

    11. Work on assigned ad-hoc compensation projects and analyze.
    12. Other compensation responsibilities as assigned.

    Education and Experience
    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and a minimum of three to five years related experience designing, developing, and communicating new compensation related programs. Experience with system and database is required as high-level excel skills. PeopleSoft and Marketpay experience preferred.


    Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements
    Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.

    Applies existing guidelines and procedures to make varied decisions within a department. Uses sound judgment and experience to solve moderately complex problems based on precedent, example, reasonableness or a combination of these.


    Knowledge and Skills
    Possesses extensive knowledge of a distinct skill or function and a thorough understanding of the organization and work environment. Has working knowledge of a functional discipline. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Excel and Word and ability to manage data from various sources. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and associates at all levels of the organization.
