The Senior Compensation Analyst plays a key role in the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs that attract, engage, and retain top talent. This role will collaborate with HR leaders, business partners, and executives to ensure compensation programs and practices remain competitive and strategically aligned to operational needs, while striving for continuous improvement and meeting regulatory requirements.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and a minimum of 3 to 5 years in compensation analysis or a related field, preferably in a corporate environment.
Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred. Expert Microsoft Excel user required.
Management/Decision Making
Applies existing guidelines and procedures to make varied decisions within a department. Uses sound judgment and experience to solve moderately complex problems based on precedent, example, reasonableness or a combination of these.
Knowledge and Skills
Possesses extensive knowledge of a distinct skill or function and a thorough understanding of the organization and work environment. Has working knowledge of a functional discipline. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Excel and Word. Ability to manage large data sets from various sources. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and associates at all levels of the organization. Detail orientated, excellent analytical skills, and able to work effectively with multiple priorities and deadlines.
