    Responsible for scheduling and/or billing of associates and services. Serves as a lead to other schedulers.


    1. Quickly assesses scheduling process and needs at community as per assignment.
    2. Supervises direct care staff as delegated by manager/ED.
    3. Provides training to care staff/scheduler as required.
    4. Ensures that community and corporate policies are disseminated and followed by all associates.
    5. Provides Personalized Living care services as needed and within professional and state guidelines.
    6. Coordinates alternative resources for associates and families.
    7. Assists the Director or designee in the recruiting, hiring, orientation and training of new associates.
    8. Ensures adequate staffing coverage for the provision of services on a day-to-day basis.
    9. Works to resolve issues identified by clients and/or their family members.
    10. Reports all accidents and/or incidents to the Director or designee immediately. Ensures that all required reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
    11. Completes administrative reports as necessary and submits to manager.
    12. Ensures complete and correct billing information is processed in billing system.
    13. Assists staff with training/orientation. Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions.
    14. Ensures associate schedules are communicated/distributed to all associates a minimum of one week in advance (or longer as required by your individual program).
    15. Effectively operates and maintains corporate scheduling and billing computer system according to company guidelines and best practices.
    16. Completes daily billing in a timely manner, ensuring state and SOX compliance regulations are followed in regards to billing practices
    17. Responsible for completing review and reconciliation of billing on a weekly basis.
    18. Ensures billing information is complete and correct prior to finalizing monthly resident billing.
    19. Maintains positive relationships and rapport with co-workers, residents, family members and community personnel.
    20. Effectively maintains client chart/documentation and filing practices as per company guidelines and best practices.
    21. Manages on-call/after-hours business needs as assigned.
    22. Completes other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience
    Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of experience in the health care arena, preferably Home Care or Associate’s Degree or 2 years’ experience in the health care arena preferred. One year supervisory experience preferred.

Exceptional ability to communicate with associates, maintaining a professional relationship while managing expectations. Possesses and exercises capability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Must have strong, advanced knowledge and working capability of PCs, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
